ABOUT THIS RESOURCE

This mini-unit was developed to support teaching and learning around the 2020 presidential election. The student-friendly Google Site is geared towards 8th grade students in civics classes and was designed to guide students through background on campaigns, candidates, the electoral process, and, of course, the electoral college. Though the election these materials were designed for has now passed, some of these materials can easily be adapted for other elections, including local elections.
