Adrianne Billingham Bock is the preK-12th grade Social Studies Program Coordinator in the Andover Public Schools, in Andover, Massachusetts. In this position, her favorite work has been the interdisciplinary projects she has been able to develop with colleagues. These include co-creating a district-wide Cultural Climate Committee, to combat racism and support identity-safe schools, and co-creating an interdisciplinary elementary curricular and instructional program, which integrates social studies and the arts, and connects meaningfully to literacy instruction. Prior to working in Andover, Adrianne was a senior program associate at Facing History and Ourselves, and began her career as a high school history and social studies teacher. Adrianne received her bachelor’s in history from Boston College, and her master’s in Irish Studies from the Queen's University of Belfast, Northern Ireland.
