Director of Curriculum
Adrianne Billingham Bock is the Director of Curriculum for the Democratic Knowledge Project. In this role, Adrianne leads the curriculum design and redesign work in social studies, history and civics across grades K-12. Prior to joining the DKP, Adrianne was the preK-12th grade Social StudiesProgram Coordinator in the Andover Public Schools, in Andover, Massachusetts. In this position, she supported and led district-wide social student curriculum, curricular initiatives and professional learning, and co-led the district’sCultural Climate Committee, an anti-racism initiative. Prior to working inAndover, Adrianne was a senior program associate at Facing History andOurselves, supporting teachers in their use of Facing History’s curriculum and pedagogical approach. She began her career as a high school history and socialstudies teacher. Adrianne received her bachelor’s in history from BostonCollege, and her master’s degree in Irish Studies from the Queen's University of Belfast, Northern Ireland.
