Allison Pao graduated from Harvard College in December 2021. For her undergraduate degree in Social Studies, she wrote her senior thesis about the influence of teachers' beliefs on citizenship on the implementation of civics education reforms in Massachusetts. At the Democratic Knowledge Project, she is currently working to support ongoing research about family engagement, youth voice, and equity. In addition to her work with the DKP, she has diverse education-related experiences in teaching, curriculum design policy and advocacy, and research at organizations such as Generation Citizen, the Rennie Center, Public Consulting Group, and the Breakthrough Collaborative. She will begin the Teaching and Teacher Leadership Master's program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in June 2022.
