Post-Doctoral Research Associate
Lisa Shen is a qualitative researcher who is passionate about using data to improve learning and teaching practices at the graduate, undergraduate, and K-12 levels. She has an Ed.M. and Ed.D. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and an A.B. from Mount Holyoke College. While at Harvard, Lisa’s independent research projects have ranged from college readiness at a diverse, urban high school, to the career pathways of STEM doctoral students at an elite university. She also served as the Research and Evaluation Fellow for the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning at Harvard University, focusing her efforts primarily on focus group data collection and analysis. Lisa is thrilled to be joining the Democratic Knowledge Project as part of the Evaluation team.
