
Gingi Wingard
Director of Educating for American Democracy (EAD) K–12 Initiatives
Gingi Wingard is the Director of Educating for American Democracy (EAD) K–12 Initiatives at the Democratic Knowledge Project. In this role, she leads national efforts to strengthen civic learning and foster democratic engagement among K–12 students in alignment with the Educating for American Democracy Roadmap. With over 30 years of experience in education, Gingi has a comprehensive understanding of the education landscape and the importance of cross-sector collaboration for meaningful, scalable impact. Prior to joining the DKP, Gingi held roles as a classroom teacher, school administrator, instructional technology specialist, consultant, and learning specialist. She contributes her time and expertise as a volunteer and board member for several nonprofit organizations, including the Education Board Foundation, The Impact Center, and the Potomac Community Foundation.
