Instructional Coach

Carin Aquiline is a research assistant on the Idea into Action and Leading Learning that Matters projects. She is particularly interested in how ideas about powerful learning get translated into action in schools. She joined Project Zero in 2017 on the Making Learning and Thinking Visible in Italian Secondary Schools project, which supported Italian teachers in using the Making Learning Visible and Visible Thinking frameworks. She has also worked with PZ as a graduate teaching fellow, an online course coach, and a study group facilitator. Before coming to Project Zero, Carin taught high school English and English as a Second Language for close to a decade, then worked as an instructional coach focused on adolescent literacy development and inquiry-driven teaching and adult learning.
