Content Specialist
Dimitrios Halikias is a content specialist working on the eighth grade civics curriculum for the Democratic Knowledge Project. He is also a PhD Candidate in the Harvard Department of Government, where he studies political philosophy and the history of political thought. His main research interests are in nineteenth century debates over capitalism, contemporary democratic theory, and American political thought. Prior to beginning graduate school, he worked as an economics research assistant at the Brookings Institution. He received his BA in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale College in 2016.
