KAILAH MCGEE ADEFOLALU

Research Assistant

Kailah McGee Adefolalu is a 4th year PhD student in Education at Harvard. She thinks about how exclusion and delegitimation of non-dominant accounts of US history impact high-achieving white students’ moral and civic reasoning. She studies how history learning materials can integrate explicit interrogations of power and non-dominant accounts of history, and whether these factors impact how high-achieving white adolescents reason about justice. As a research assistant with the DKP, Kailah works on issues of curricular equity and equity accountability. She lives in Roxbury, MA with her husband and 15-year-old dog.
