VIVIAN CHAO

Research Assistant

Vivian is a master’s student in the Human Development and Education Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She will also be pursuing a second year in the Certificate of Advanced Study (C.A.S.) in School Counseling. She was born and raised in Taiwan. She holds a M.S. in Bilingual Education from Boston University. Prior to attending HGSE, Vivian worked as a student teacher at Josiah Quincy Upper School to attain her ESL teaching license. She thoroughly enjoyed working with students one-on-one and getting to know each student. Vivian’s work with the Democratic Knowledge Project focuses on supporting the School Youth Family Engagement for civic learning (SYFE) project team.
